Lego Main

Project Description

Client:   Surface Solutions
Location:   Windsor, UK
Year Completed:   2007 – 2014

Fibreglass Characters, Rides & Attractions

Fibreglass is the favoured, low cost, low maintenance, high quality solution for use in amusement and leisure parks. Working for Surface Solutions, we completed several projects at Windsor-based theme park, LEGOLAND.

Legoland, Windsor

Our works involved building the vehicles for the Pirate Falls Dynamite Drench ride , custom-moulded green leaf boats for the Fairy Tale Brook ride and producing electrically powered self-drive boats for the LEGOLAND Boating School – fabricated in fibreglass and styled like Lego. Also produced was the entire new houses facade for the Fire Academy attraction where participants are challenged with powering a LEGO fire engine and putting out a ‘burning’ building.

Fibreglass Solutions provided calculations, multiple part precision moulds, production tooling and of course the high quality, GRP interactive themed rides and attractions.

This project serves as another great instance of our ability to actualize our client’s intentions and accomplish outstanding results. Below is the excellent feedback received from our client.

Client Testimonial

It was a pleasure to work alongside Tony and his team at Fibreglass solutions on many occasions regarding GRP work at LEGOLAND, Tony has many years of Composite engineering experience that he brings to each and every project. We look forward to the next project together.
